Meet Naz and Rachel

We created Women are the Medicine because we saw the same thing again and again: brilliant women trying to build lives and businesses that matter — while still carrying the patterns of systems that were never built for them.

This work didn’t come from a textbook.
It came from over 20 years of coaching, witnessing, and walking alongside women as they bump up against the invisible walls of overgiving, over-adapting, and burning themselves out trying to do it all “right.”

We’re not here to tell you who to be.
We’re here to help you remember who you are — and build from there.

Find out more about us both here.

Nasreen El-Mariesh (Naz) is a transformational coach certified by the Psychedelic Coaching Institute, specialising in women's empowerment and relationships.

Blending science, somatics and spirituality for an expansive and intuitive coaching experience, she invites you to meet yourself with depth and curiosity.

What often feels like play is a vivid exploration into the realms of the emotional and energetic fabric of your existence.

Working with the potent energy of both the masculine & the feminine, she shows you how to create magic within your inner and outer worlds.

Through experience you learn that the wisdom you seek is housed within and that fear can be alchemised into love by deep insight and bold inspired action.

Naz brings over 10 years experience in creating luxury transformational retreats in Marrakech, Sri Lanka and Europe.

She is was also Festival Director for the acclaimed Wellbeing by the Lakes, the largest wellness event in Dorset that ran 2019-2023.

Rachel is a transformational coach certified by the Psychedelic Coaching Institute, and also a certified Narrative Coach. She helps clients tap into the power of story, somatics and non-ordinary states of consciousness to create more meaning and joy in their lives.

Rachel guides clients through the ‘messy middle’ of life, reframing that feeling of ‘is this it?’ as a juicy opportunity for reinvention and expansion.

She’s a trauma-sensitive coach (like so many of us, she has a history of childhood trauma) and loves to pull on the generative power of archetypes, dreamwork, and creativity in accessing and integrating psyche.

Rachel is also a corporate escapee who thankfully overcame her left-brained business consultancy background to develop a fluid, intuitive coaching style. She now loves supporting other women to break free of the roles that constrain them to create more meaningful, satisfying lives.
